About Us

Kevin & Kimberly Grogan have lived in Clermont, Florida for five years. We have two children Gavin (4) & Nora Rose (1). Three years ago, Kevin gave up teaching in the Lake County School System & together the Grogan's bought the existing sports store at the National Training Center in Clermont; Gear for Multisport. Kevin & Kimberly have an extensive background in running & multisport in addition to having undergraduate & graduate degrees in physical education & sports administration.

Kimberly ran in college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She has qualified for Ironman Hawaii twice including a breakout performance at St. Croix International Tri in 2006 where she finished 9th overall including professionals. This past year won the overall title at the Redman Ironman in Oklahoma & also had a PR in the Ironman distance in Panama City (IMFL) where she went a blistering 10:26:28. Kimberly enjoys long training days when she can.

On the other hand, Kevin races. He usually spends Monday & Tuesday morning looking on the web for a local race(s) each weekend. He won the Xterra Regional Triathlon Title in his age group the past two seasons & also enjoys longer trail runs/races. Besides that, he enjoys sprint triathlons & sometimes fitting in as many as four races a week. In once stretch in 2008, Kevin had four overall victories in six days. Kevin also gets to as many Windermere Roadie group rides as he can.
